Episode 37 of Find Your Center with Life Coach Kim Perone

Often people say to me, “I can’t meditate. My mind is too busy.” I’ll tell you a secret, everyone’s mind is very busy. That is why we would meditate. Simply put, we are exercising our ability to come back from our thoughts, with a focus on the anchor of our breath and body, again and again…again and again. It doesn’t have to be long. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It can be short moments of present moment awareness, times when we notice we are actually the human being having thoughts. We are not our thoughts. We are having thoughts. This important distinction can give us the precious space we need to reduce our stress, respond appropriately rather than react emotionally, and also, strengthen our ability to enjoy our lives.  I have recently recorded mindful meditations to support my Mindful Leader and Mindful At Work programs. To listen to a whole podcast episode about meditation, check out the link above. To enjoy mindful meditations, see the links below.

To schedule a program at your workplace or join a Mindful Leader small group coaching program, please contact me. I would love to discuss with you the many benefits of mindfulness and meditation with you!

Enjoy these mindful meditations this summer. I wish you peace, happiness, and a little bit of stillness and awareness.
