It’s a clumsy title admittedly, but it describes me. It covers my collective experience and includes the purpose I want to serve in my career and life.

I believe in clarity, as you might have noticed by my tongue twister of a business name The Center for Clarity, Compassion & Contentment. So between the title and the business name, I hope to convey much.

Success Coaching

I work with clients who are busy professionals, overloaded with responsibility due to their talent and ambition. I help these clients gain clarity by peeling back the layers of overwork in their life while helping them learn new skills, concepts, and philosophies that save them time. We focus on eliminating time wasters, establishing flow, and mastering a mindset for peace and achievement that brings them to new levels in their life and career.

Bereavement Coaching

In late 2019, I specifically added bereavement to my services. One of the most foundational reasons I became a coach myself is my path as a bereaved mother for the past 16 years. After losing my 9 year old son Jack suddenly when I was 35 years old, I was forced to ponder the meaning of life, pick up the pieces of my shattered heart, and find a way to go on. Because of the blessing of my surviving younger son Steven, husband Dave and loving family and friends, I dedicated myself to finding happiness in the face of the unfathomable. That decade long  journey also included losing my younger sister to cancer in a very short time period when she was in the prime of her life and a wife and new mother. Both losses challenge me to find a way to live a meaningful life, carry the pain, and support others. I now share that experience with others experiencing loss and offer bereavement coaching on a sliding scale to ensure it is affordable to anyone. The voluntary session fee is paying it forward to the next client in need of compassionate coaching. I have had the honor of being a blessing to bereaved spouses, parents and children as they find their path forward and honor their loved ones.

Resilience Coaching

When the perfect storm of events tackles someone and leaves them in the dark, I want them to find me. I know what it is like to walk through the dark forest, uncertain of where the path leads, or even if you will ever get out. I want to talk to someone during this time, in consultation or coaching. Resilience coaching is offered on a sliding scale, voluntary fee also, because often financial challenge is one of the elements of the storm. If there is one thing we need when experiencing the dark night of the soul, it is the hope of light.

This coaching is the most meaningful work I have ever done in my 30 year career. It is my own ecstatic engagement, my medicine for a mother’s broken heart.  It is the embodiment of hope. It is packaged in the sacred space of a coaching relationship and coaching session. I am a mere facilitator in the pursuit of clarity, growth, exploration and empowerment that enhances my clients’ lives.

Together, in coaching, we raise the level of consciousness in the world because examining our own inner journey, honoring our pain without denying it, and ensuring we find joy and fulfillment in life is the most profound work we will ever do.  It leads the way to everything else we accomplish in life and the impact we have on others.
